Surf Sister is a surf company based in Tofino, B.C. that promotes women's surfing worldwide. They offer fun and safe group lessons, private lessons and surf camps on beautiful beaches near Tofino B.C. We were hired to design new merchandise logo's for this amazing company. Mellow - Innsbruck, Austria & Beijing, China

Mellow is a groundbreaking marketing and PR agency that specializes in winter sports event production and communications services. We were hired to manage three international-standard snowboard parks and direct the bilingual communications campaign for all events on Chinese soil including the Quicksilver Night Rail Session and Fat Saturdays – a traveling, two-day multi-brand tent city in ski resorts around the country. We also organized sponsorship for our customers, including Nokia, Quiksilver, Mars Chocolates and Gibson Guitars.


 

Red Bull Nanshan Open - Miyun, China

This five-star TTR World Tour Snowboard event hosts snowboarders from around the world to compete on Chinese soil and participate against local Chinese riders. A three-part event management team, we hosted hundreds of international snowboarding stars as well as media and industry professionals. We also directed the entire media and promotions program for the event for five years running.


 

ISPO - Munich, Germany

The world’s largest sports trade fair and industry meeting, ISPO China was designed to draw the world’s attention to the emerging Asian Sports Goods Market and bring international brands and showcase local professional brands together in one location for the first time in the history of the country. As local consultants on the ground in Beijing, we were responsible for evening entertainment and on-snow demonstrations over the course of five years, and even organized the Asia Pacific Sports Conference – a two-day, bilingual symposium on the impact of winter sports in China.


 

Toukee - Vancouver Island, BC

Toukee is a handmade Toque company from Ucluelet B.C on Vancouver Island. The client wanted something organic and hand done but still colorful, fun and bright. The logo is mainly used on tags and business cards. The tags and businesses cards where printed on recycled heavy card-stock paper, to give the logo a more natural feel.

Transmit is an international music-industry conference that brings delegates together to explore the new global music economy and to mix and mingle. In Canada House, Tiananmen Square and in partnership with the Federal Government of Canada, we were the on-the-ground contacts responsible for logistics, all production and translation services, as well as the entertainment schedule of 37 VIP Government and music industry professionals.

Specializing in the management and execution of large-scale outdoor sports and music productions, we were responsible for providing logistical support, production expertise and VIP hosting services for ‘The BC 150 Celebration’ on the Federal Legislatures Lawn, the multi day outdoor ‘Whistler Music Festival’ and the biggest mountain bike festival in the world, ‘Krankworks,’ in Whistler BC.

A vanguard in terms of world-class dining, design, service and entertainment nation wide, Block 8 is a collection of three restaurants, two nightclubs, one rooftop terrace and an event and banqueting space. We spearheaded the grand-opening, bilingual media and communications campaign, and were featured in publications like Vogue, Maxim and Wallpaper and were inducted into “World’s Finest Clubs”. We also hosted and planned numerous events for clients such as Moet and Chandon, Grey Goose and Bacardi, among others, and entertained guests such as Steve Nash, Public Enemy and Adrian Brody.

We were hired to design print ads for the Group, one of China’s most prominent food and beverage companies. Our relationship with the Group is ongoing today, and we are now responsible for designing and writing menus for multiple restaurant locations, event planning and VIP hosting.


 

Speed Snowboard Magazine - Beijing, China


China’s first ski and snowboard magazine hired us to direct their ad sales program, which included designing, writing and printing their media package as well as landing clients such as Oakley, Dakine and Quiksilver. We also sat on the Board of Directors and were responsible for core snowboarding content.

The world’s largest snowboard brand entered the China market in 2007, and guess who organized the launch party? They liked it so much that we also threw their first anniversary party, ‘Burton Niu,’ and the opening of their indoor snowboard park in Beijing.
